Laurence Mead
Managing Director
As the Managing Director of Astrea, Laurence brings 15 years of experience starting in the UK and his primary responsibilities are the commercial governance of the business, and its future direction and development strategies. Outside of the office, Laurence loves having a beer and can be found most Fridays in his local, the Belrose Hotel, bantering the Aussies!
Scott Deveridge
General Manager
Scott holds a Bachelor of Surveying Degree from the University of New South Wales and he is a Registered Land Surveyor that brings 30 years industry experience to Astrea. He also has two sons within the business following in the surveying footsteps. Scott loves his footy and is a big Sydney Roosters fan.
Ben Clews
Manager of Operations
Ben has been with the business from its inception and is integral in its success. He brings 8 years of experience to the operations team helping to manage and deliver all projects from small to complex, effectively and efficiently. In Ben's spare time he loves quality time with his family and playing golf, not that he is getting any better!
Edyta Krynicka
Survey Manager
Edyta holds both a Bachelor and Master Degrees in Surveying from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsytn, Poland. Commencing her career in Poland Edyta has spent the last 9 years in Australia and is now a proud Australian Citizen. She is extremely driven to expand Astrea’s spatial capabilities and leads that team as the Survey Manager.
Luke Towers
Business Development
Through his background in hospitality management and operations with a Bachelor of Business, Luke's expertise lies in building and maintaining strong connections with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded. With a passion for Rugby Union and League, Luke loves being involved in Astrea's sponsorships with the various sporting clubs.
Alessandra Bauermann
Financial Controller
Alessandra has over 15 years of experience in Accounting and completed studies at TAFE and ACU to master all accounting procedures and legislations. Originally from Brazil, Alessandra has been living in Australia for the past 26 years and enjoys going to the beach, keeping fit at the gym and spending quality time with friends and family over a nice glass of wine.
Stacey Mead
Office Manager
Stacey has over 10 years experience in administration and management which she uses to ensure a great work environment at Astrea with a balance of humour and professionalism. Beyond the office, Stacey's creative passion and strong organisational skills are used to create fun cocktails to share with friends and delicious meals to share with her family.
Liam Boreham
Project Manager
Liam is an accredited Utility Locator with a Bachelor degree in Earth Sciences. His 10 years of experience lies in data acquisition of subsurface features and electromagnetic mapping of complex underground utility networks and he looks to expand this at Astrea. Liam spends his spare time working on his home renovation and going camping!.
