Latest News20 December 2024 Astrea's 2024 Annual Review and Awards 2024 has been a standout year for Astrea, defined by strong growth and meaningful contribution across our business. As we reflect on the year, we are proud of what our team has achieved and the impact we've made across projects, partnerships, and communities. This year, we successfully delivered 784 projects for 95 different clients, a clear testament to our expanding capability, trusted reputation, and commitment to delivering integrated solutions across subsurface utility locating, surveying, digital & spatial, and civil construction.In total, our dedicated team worked over 64,500 hours to provide reliable, high-quality services to clients across NSW. Through early investigation, risk mitigation and precise utility mapping, our work helped save clients an estimated $35 million in project clashes, delays and utility damage - highlighting the critical role we play in project planning and risk reduction.We also welcomed 20 new team members across field and support roles, bringing our total headcount to 57. This growth reflects not only the increasing demand for our services but also the strength of our culture and the quality of people that continue to drive our success.2024 also saw us deepen our engagement with the communities we serve. As a team, we proudly contributed over $50,000 to our charity partners and an additional $40,000 to local sports and community initiatives, demonstrating our belief in giving back and supporting the wellbeing of those around us.Our commitment to community was especially evident in our participation in the inaugural STRYDE4 Day, where we raised more than $25,000 for The Humour Foundation, supporting the expansion of Clown Doctor visits to Bear Cottage Children’s Hospice.
